Feldman, Kleidman, Coffey & Sappe LLP (FKC&S) is excited to be supporting John Flowers Christmas Wish 2021 and Family Services to spread cheer to local families in need this holiday season. Through December 20, our firm will be collecting donations of new, unwrapped toys and gift cards, as well as items for preteens and teenagers, such as bath/body sets, makeup, hats, gloves, etc. The donation box is set up inside of our personal injury office, which is located at 986 Main Street, Fishkill, NY 12524. Community members are welcome to stop by to contribute between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on weekdays.
“This year’s John Flowers Christmas Event will most likely be the largest ever,” say the organizers of the event on Facebook. “Every dollar counts and will help our mission to bring every child a Christmas.”
In 1992, John Flowers, a well-known and beloved community organizer in the Hudson Valley, started delivering Christmas gifts to nursing homes and hospitals after visiting his sister in a cancer hospital in Boston. Since his passing in August 2015, Flowers’ children have continued his legacy by giving back to the community in a number of ways, including through the annual John Flowers Christmas Wish program. Last year, 2,000 kids received gifts from this impactful holiday drive.
“Every year this program collects letters to Santa from families in need,” said Kathryn C. Collins, partner at FKC&S. “By delivering on the wishes made by each child, it really reinforces their belief in Santa and the magic of Christmas. Isn’t this what this time of year is all about? Highlighting all of the good that is out there and bringing joy to those around you is the spirit of the holiday season!”
For Hudson Valley families in need, letters to Santa are still being accepted. Please include the names, genders, ages and sizes for the children you are seeking gifts for, as well as a complete address and phone number that you can be reached at. Letters can be mailed to:

In addition to new and unwrapped toys, clothes and hygiene items, the organization is also accepting financial contributions and seeking volunteers to help with sorting and wrapping the donations. Donation checks can be made out to Family Services with “John Flowers Events” in the memo and mailed to PO Box 617, Pleasant Valley, NY 12569. Online donations are also being accepted through a Facebook fundraiser. For questions, or to volunteer, please reach out to Frankie Flowers at (845) 702-5355 or fflowers35 (at) gmail (dot) com.
