$362,500 settlement for a police officer injured in the line of duty.

$362,500 settlement for a police officer who seriously injured his knee while responding to a police call.  The client was attacked by a dog and then pushed down stairs by the dog’s owner resulting in a knee injury requiring arthroscopic surgery.  This was a difficult case damages wise as the client was involved in another accident a year later which also caused injury to his knee and prevented him from returning to work.  We related the second accident back to the knee instability caused by the client’s first fall and were able to achieve settlement.
