Our team at Feldman, Kleidman, Coffey & Sappe, LLP is profoundly grateful for, and indebted to, those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our country. On Memorial Day, and always, we are thinking of those brave souls, as well as their loved ones, and paying tribute to their lives and legacies.
John F. Kennedy once said, “As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words but to live by them.” This quote rings true today, more than ever, as we face the despair and destruction wrought by COVID-19. Courageous frontline workers, including members of our nation’s armed forces, are risking everything to care for others and save lives. They have our gratitude, but they need our help. Practice social distancing, wear a mask when you are in public, be kind to others, check on your neighbors and maintain good personal hygiene. It is through these simple actions that we can come together to protect our heroes.
